About OSPA Membership

Get your voice heard on local, state & national EMS and EMT issues. Join Oregon's only statewide & nationally recognized EMT association.

Since 1980, OSPA has been representing Oregon's First Responders & EMTs of all levels at BME, State EMS Committee, & Oregon legislative hearings, as well as NAEMT meetings.

Two types of OSPA membership are available:

Active & Support.

Active membership is available to Oregon First Responders & EMTs of any level. Support membership is available to non-EMS responders who support the purpose of OSPA.

OSPA Active Membership
Active membership is available to Oregon certified First Responders & EMT's of any level for $35/year. Active membership shall have privileges as follows:

  1. Receive economic, educational, and professional benefits as selected and approved by the Executive Committee
  2. Receive regular OSPA communications
  3. Remain informed of the goals and activities of the OSPA
  4. Use of the OSPA website
  5. The rights of initiative
  6. The rights of referendum and recall
  7. The opportunity to serve as any elected or appointed officer, or Executive Committee member
  8. Voting in all elections of officers and representatives
  9. Voting on all matters referred to the membership
  10. Must be a member in good standing (current in dues and an Active member for a minimum of 45 days before any election or vote)
The membership year shall be from January 1 to December 31. Purchase an Active membership & receive either an OSPA T-shirt or 4 FREE First Responder or EMT patches. Support your state's professional association!

OSPA Support Membership
For Non-First Responders & Non-EMTs, Support Membership is available to any interested party who may provide valuable assistance or distinguished service to the OSPA. At a cost of only $10/year Support Membership includes the privileges of:

  1. Receive economic, educational, & professional benefits as selected & approved by the Executive Committee
  2. Receive regular OSPA communications
  3. Remain informed of the goals & activities of the OSPA
The membership year shall be from January 1 to December 31. Support membership does NOT include an OSPA T-shirt. You can purchase an OSPA T-shirt seperately for only $15 through the OSPA store.
